Chi Tang, Ph.D.

Before joining Spear Bio, Chi Tang, served as Director of Product Transfer at Quanterix, where he led major initiatives in new product introduction, manufacturing scale‑up, and process optimization to support the rapid launch of next‑generation ultra‑sensitive immunoassays. He previously held leadership roles in technical operations and product transfer at T2 Biosystems and Siemens Healthineers, where he drove improvements in quality, manufacturability, and supply chain robustness across immunoassay and molecular diagnostics platforms.

Chi holds a Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, where he also earned dual B.S. degrees in Chemistry and Economics.
