Shunqiang (Shawn) Wang, Ph.D.

Before joining Spear Bio, Shawn Wang was Director of Engineering at Vizgen, leading the instrumentation platform development for the company’s industry-leading high-plex, spatial genomics solution. His prior experience includes roles of increasing responsibility and leadership in the development of advanced life science instrumentation tools in the fields of proteomics and next-generation DNA sequencing at Nautilus Biotechnology and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Shawn completed his postdoctoral training at Princeton University. Shawn holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Lehigh University and a B.S. in Mechatronics Engineering from Zhejiang University.
